Asociația Epicentru is a non-governmental, non-profit organization founded in November 2021 in Cluj-Napoca, under Romanian Law no. 246/2005. It operates independently from any political or commercial structure, with the mission of providing the community with access to culture, sport, and education. The association’s income comes from membership fees, donations, sponsorships, and non-reimbursable grants, and is used exclusively to fulfill its statutory objectives.

Aerialight Studio Cluj-Napoca is Asociația Epicentru’s permanent project dedicated to Aerial Arts and sports. The association provides the legal and organizational framework that makes the studio’s activity possible — classes, public events, competition participations, and cultural performances all take place under the association’s umbrella.

Supporting members are individuals who participate in the association’s activities and provide financial, logistical, or organizational support, without holding voting rights. Supporting membership is obtained by signing an application form and accepting the association’s Internal Rules. Aerialight Studio students are welcome to become supporting members of the association.

 There are several ways to support us at no financial cost to you: you can redirect 3.5% of your income tax through Form 230 — at no additional cost to you. You can share our content on social media, attend our public events, and recommend Aerialight Studio classes to people you know.

All funds received by Asociația Epicentru are used exclusively to fulfill its statutory objectives: organizing classes, public events, cultural performances, competition participations, acquiring and maintaining professional safety equipment, and developing new community projects. The association does not distribute profit and has no commercial activity of its own.

Under Romanian law, any taxpayer can direct 3.5% of their already-paid income tax to a non-profit organization, at no additional cost to them. You fill in Form 230 with Asociația Epicentru’s details (CIF: 45280750) and submit it to ANAF by May 25th of the following year, or online at e-guvernare.ro. The funds are transferred directly from the state to the association.

Asociația Epicentru is registered in the Register of Associations and Foundations at ANAF. Companies that provide sponsorships to the association may benefit from tax facilities under Romanian Sponsorship Law no. 32/1994. The association’s second permanent project is Illustrious Puppets Studio, dedicated to promoting the art of puppetry and animation theatre through performances, courses, and cultural events. The association also develops community projects such as free public educational events on Aerial sports safety and charitable performances in collaboration with cultural institutions in Cluj-Napoca.
